King of Cotton was founded in 1995 in the UK. The original Italian brand "Redi Cotone", from which King of Cotton originated, has been around since 1880. Through a long line of family connections it came to the UK with the main aim of supplying the finest hotels, residential projects with premium quality cotton towels, bathrobes, slippers and bed linen.
Today, King of Cotton is one of the largest suppliers of bed linen to the most luxurious hotels around the world. Its clients include hotels such as Four Season, Marriott, Le Meridien, Jumeirah and Hilton.
How to choose cotton products
Cotton density is judged by the GSM unit of measurement - an abbreviation of the English term "Grams Per Square Metre", which translates to "grams per square metre". The higher the GSM, the more luxurious, softer, more absorbent and heavier the product will be. GSM values usually range from 300 to 1000 g/m2.
Maintenance of the product:
Any cotton fabric should be treated with care. Do not use fabric softener for washing. This can adversely affect absorbency, making it difficult to dry after a bath or shower. If you really insist, use only a few drops. Can be washed at temperatures above 80 °C.
